Du Fu

During a trip through China in 2013, Verstegen studied the poet Du Fu and the connection between everyday impressions and poetry from the eighth century AD. The content of these poems is still relevant today.

As Marie Verstegen says herself; “Perhaps it is an indictment, against any form of authority, against mass oppression. Or an ode to those who think differently.”
